Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
Carpenter Digital ("I," "me," or "the business") is a sole-proprietor marketing agency based in Sisters, Oregon. This policy explains what information I collect on carpenter-digital.com, why I collect it, and how you can control it. Plain English. No fine print games.
Who this covers
This policy applies to visitors and leads who use carpenter-digital.com, including the free audit form, Lead Engine Scorecard, contact form, paid-traffic landing pages under /go, and call-booking pages.
Information I collect
When you fill out a form, I may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company name
- Website URL, industry, revenue range, zip code, or a message you write
- Attribution data tied to your visit (UTM parameters, Google click ID / gclid, Facebook click ID / fbclid, landing page, referrer) so I can see which ads and pages produced the lead
If you book a call, Calendly also collects the details you enter on their scheduling form under Calendly's own privacy policy.
Analytics cookies and similar tech
I use the following to understand how the site is used and where traffic comes from:
- Google Analytics — loaded through Google Tag Manager
- PostHog — product analytics for funnel and page behavior
- Vercel Analytics — basic performance and traffic metrics
These tools may set cookies or use local/session storage. They help me improve the site and the lead experience. They are not used to sell your data.
Advertising and conversion tracking
When you arrive from a paid ad or convert on the site, I may use:
- Google Ads conversion tracking — via Google Tag Manager, so I know which clicks led to form submits, calls, scorecard completions, and booked calls
- Enhanced conversions — your email and/or phone may be hashed (SHA-256) in Google Tag Manager and sent to Google Ads to improve conversion measurement. Hashing happens in the tag manager, not as a stored cleartext export for sale
- Remarketing — Google Ads may show Carpenter Digital ads to people who previously visited this site
- Call tracking — phone numbers shown on the site may be tracking numbers so I can attribute inbound calls to campaigns
Offline conversion import: if you become a lead, I may later import milestones (for example booked call, qualified, closed-won) back into Google Ads using your lead ID and gclid so bidding optimizes toward real outcomes — not just form fills.
How I use your information
- Respond to audit requests, scorecard submissions, and contact messages
- Schedule and prepare for walkthrough calls
- Send follow-up email about your request (via Resend)
- Measure and improve advertising and site performance
- Operate and improve the Lead Engine offer and related services
Transactional and follow-up email related to your inquiry is sent using Resend. I do not add you to a newsletter without a clear reason tied to your request, and I do not sell your email address.
Who I share data with
I share personal information only with service providers that help me run the business — for example email delivery (Resend), analytics (Google, PostHog, Vercel), advertising platforms (Google Ads), scheduling (Calendly), and optional webhook/CRM tools I configure to process leads.
I do not sell personal data. I do not rent or share lead lists with other agencies or advertisers.
How long I keep it
Lead records are kept as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain a business relationship, measure advertising performance, or meet legal/accounting obligations. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's settings and my own retention choices.
Your choices and opt-out
- Email me at jackson@jacksoncarpenter.us to request access, correction, or deletion of lead data I hold about you
- Opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com
- Use browser controls to block or clear cookies; some site features may work less well if you do
- If you no longer want follow-up about a specific inquiry, reply to the email or write me and I'll stop
Children
This site is for business owners and operators. It is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when I do. Continued use of the site after a change means you've seen the updated policy.
